Therefore, digital transformation and AI transformation are identified as strategic breakthrough solutions to modernise the education system, position Viet Nam among countries with advanced education systems, and build a high-quality workforce in the new era of national development.
“Digital transformation and AI transformation are not merely technological trends but core solutions for modernising the education system and creating breakthroughs in quality and efficiency,” Associate Professor, Dr Nguyen Duy Bac emphasised.
At the conference, Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, affirmed that the province considers digital transformation and the application of high technology as the “key” to realising Politburo Resolution No. 09, with the goal of turning Khanh Hoa into a centrally governed city by 2030, while also developing it into a national and regional data centre.
The application of AI in training and scientific research represents a strategic and breakthrough orientation of both the central authorities and Khanh Hoa Province in advancing science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation, as well as creating breakthroughs in education and training.
At the same time, the conference provides an opportunity to effectively implement memoranda of understanding on cooperation and to strengthen connections between Khanh Hoa University and domestic as well as international education, training and research institutions. This aims to facilitate the exchange of experience and enhance professional capacity in education and training associated with scientific research and innovation.
Through the conference, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee hopes to receive many thoughtful opinions and valuable contributions from delegates and more than 170 scientists, serving as a foundation for the province to further implement AI applications in training and scientific research in the most effective manner possible.
