The exhibition introduces visitors to places selected as film locations for domestic and international movies.

Works on display also featured tourist attractions and cultural and historical sites in Binh Dinh Province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasised that cinema has proven to be an effective channel to promote tourism.

Facts have shown that beautiful scenes in movies can attract viewers’ attention, helping tourist destinations, products and services become more popular among travellers, thus contributing positively to the development of the tourism industry in many provinces and cities, such as Phu Yen, Ha Giang, Quang Ninh, and Quang Binh.

Through cinema, Vietnamese traditional customs, festivals and cultural practices have been popularised to international viewers, motivating them to visit Vietnam, he added.
