The exhibition will feature 80 photographs and 800 archival documents, including books, newspapers, magazines, maps, and images. These materials will illuminate pivotal historical events, iconic figures, and defining moments that shaped Viet Nam’s national identity and progress.
The works on display will be organised into four thematic sections namely ‘The August Revolution of 1945 – The Nation’s First Great Victory in the 20th Century’, ‘National Day, September 2, 1945 – A Glorious Landmark of the Vietnamese People in the Ho Chi Minh Era’, ‘The Historical Value and Contemporary Significance of the August Revolution and National Day’, and ‘Viet Nam – 80 Years of Steadfast Progress’.
The exhibition aims to reaffirm the profound significance of the August Revolution and National Day in Viet Nam’s history. It also seeks to foster patriotism, self-reliance, and resilience, while celebrating the nation’s development achievements over the past eight decades.
