Famous bubble artist returns to Vietnam

Nhan Dan Online – The world-renowned bubble , Fan Yang will return to Vietnam for performances at an arts programme entitled ‘Giac mo Viet’ (Vietnamese Dream) from April 22-30 and from May 28 to June 1 in Hanoi.

Fan Yang will perform with a light artist from Canada and artists from Hanoi Cheo (traditional opera) Theatre.

The natural landscapes of Vietnam will feature on stage, through a combination of unique bubble techniques, the sparkling colours of laser lights and Vietnamese traditional dance performances.

The artists will perform with Vietnamese folk music in the background from traditional musical instruments such as the xylophone, flute and t’rung (Central Highlands musical instruments), which promises to delight audiences.

The Vietnamese-Canadian bubble maker Fan Yang, who has earned 19 Guinness world records, has discovered a magical world of bubbles and combines them with art and science to create a unique form of entertainment. He previously toured Vietnam in 2006, 2011, 2012 and 2013 with his amazing shows.

The ‘Giac mo Viet’ programme will take place at Dai Nam Theatre, 89 Pho Hue Street from April 22-30 and at the Hanoi Cultural - Friendship Palace, 91 Tran Hung Dao Street from May 28 to June 1.

The artists will also perform at the August Theatre in Hai Phong city from June 6-8.
