This is an annual activity to promote tourism in the Capital associated with honouring, preserving and spreading the unique intangible cultural value - Vietnamese Ao Dai.

Through a series of rich activities, the Festival aims to contribute to nurturing the love for Ao Dai, raising awareness of the community - especially the youth - about preserving and promoting national cultural identity; at the same time affirming the image of Ha Noi - a “safe, friendly, quality and attractive” tourist destination.

During the three days of the event, the Ha Noi Ao Dai Tourism Festival 2025 will bring to the people and visitors a colourful cultural space - a place to honour the beauty of Ao Dai through performances, exhibitions, exchanges and creative experiences.

At the Ha Noi Museum, the Festival will opens a vibrant cultural space, where traditional values are recreated and sublimated in contemporary life with more than 80 elaborately decorated booths, gathering designers, Ao Dai brands, weaving, sewing, embroidery, silk villages and typical artisans of Ha Noi and many localities across the country. Not only a place to display, this is also a journey to discover heritage - where every meter of fabric, every needle and thread tells the story of Vietnamese hands, soul and identity.

Through the event, Ha Noi is expected to affirm its orientation to build tourism products associated with culture, making Ao Dai a symbol of Ha Noi tourism identity, while promoting the participation of the community, artisans and businesses in the work of preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural values in the new era.
