The GBP100,000 fund aims to encourage arts and cultural practitioners to explore innovative ways of engaging and interacting with new audiences through projects which use Vietnam’s heritage of music and film.
Project proposals to be considered for the grant include those working on the production and presentation of music, film, video and cross-disciplinary works using music, film or video elements.
Considerations will also be made for projects on music and film archiving, especially the management, development and promotion of existing archives, as well as the research and publication of materials which will contribute towards further growth or sustainability in this area.
The grant value offered for each proposal will be between GBP3,000 and GBP10,000.
The FAMLAB fund is one of two interconnected strands of Cultural Heritage for the Inclusive Growth pilot initiative, launched in April 2018 to explore the use of cultural heritage for growth to benefit all levels of society. It is being implemented in Colombia, Kenya, and Vietnam.
