In the spirit of the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and the Resolution of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, Deputy PM Tra expressed her hope that the Party Committee, government, and people of Dong Thap province would continue to uphold their glorious revolutionary traditions and rich cultural identity to strive for even greater achievements in the new development phase.
On this occasion, the delegation presented 100 million VND to the Centre for the Care of War Veterans in Dong Thap province; and 100 Tet gifts to needy households and disadvantaged workers in Dong Thap province.
In addition, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Ba (88 years old, residing in Long Thuan neighbourhood, My Phong ward, Dong Thap province. Her husband and son were martyrs).
Nguyen Khac Dinh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, visited and extended New Year greetings to People’s Armed Forces Hero Phan Nhan, People’s Armed Forces Hero Nguyen Duc Quan, and Ta Xuan Hien, a war invalid in Khanh Hoa province.
At their homes, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly cordially inquired about the health and well-being of the meritorious individuals. He expressed profound gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the veteran revolutionary cadres and those who participated in the resistance in the struggle for national liberation and reunification.
At the same time, he wished the families a joyful and warm Lunar New Year, encouraging them to continue preserving and promoting revolutionary traditions, educating their children to strive in their studies and work, and contributing to the development of Khanh Hoa province.
The NA Vice Chairman requested that the Party committees and authorities at all levels of Khanh Hoa province continue to pay attention to and fully and promptly implement preferential policies for those who have rendered meritorious services, and emphasised the need to strengthen the work of showing gratitude and better care for the material and spiritual lives of policy beneficiary families in the province.
