Following a proposal from the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the Lam Ha District People's Committee will implement the promotion programme from June to July 2025, the peak avocado harvest season in the area.

The programme is expected to reach about 52,000 passengers. The Provincial Department of Industry and Trade also proposed that Lam Ha District provide approximately 6 tonnes of free fresh avocados for Vietnam Airlines to prepare dishes made from avocados to serve passengers during the programme.

Lam Dong Province has nearly 7,000 hectares of avocado cultivation, with an annual output of about 65,000 tonnes.

Of which, Lam Ha District has over 1,200 hectares, Bao Lam District has nearly 1,400 hectares, and Di Linh District has almost 2,600 hectares. The remaining area is scattered across Da Lat City, Don Duong District, Duc Trong District, and Bao Loc City.
