National Book Awards 2023 to honour 41 books

The 6th National Book Awards is set to honour 41 works of literature and science at a ceremony in Hanoi on December 29, as announced by the Vietnam Publishers Association on December 26.

This year’s book awards witnessed the participation of 41 publishers with the submission of 312 book titles and book sets.

The National Book Awards Council selected the 41 best books and book sets to present with prizes, including two A prizes, ten B prizes, 11 C prizes, and 18 Consolation prizes.

The winning books have been assessed as creative works with profound humanistic values and elaborate scientific research works with high social scientific and practical value.

The National Book Awards is a state-level award held annually to honour works with outstanding ideological, intellectual, and aesthetic values.

An exhibition on books by Party Chief Nguyen Phu Trong and all the winning books of previous years will also be held within the framework of the award ceremony.
