Nghe An launches 2023 Cua Lo Tourism Festival

After 116 years of establishment as a tourist destination and 29 years of construction and development, Cua Lo Town is gradually transforming, taking on the shape of a busy coastal tourist city, and an ideal and attractive resort address.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2023 Cua Lo Tourism Festival, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long emphasised that in recent years, especially since the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution 08 on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector, Nghe An Province's tourism industry has made changes and achieved important results.

With the theme "Cua Lo - Colour of the Sea", the 2023 Cua Lo Tourism Festival provides an opportunity for Nghe An Province to introduce and promote its unique tourism values, resources and products to friends as well as domestic and foreign tourists.

Right after the opening drum of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Secretary Thai Thanh Quy was the art programme "Cua Lo-Colour of the Sea" and a welcome fireworks performance.

Cua Lo Town has set the target of welcoming about 3.4 million visitors in 2023, including 1.5 million overnight stays at local accommodation facilities. The local tourism sector also aims to collect more than VND3.5 trillion in revenue from services.
