Party and State leaders attend opening ceremony for new school year

The opening ceremony for the new school year (2022-2023) took place at schools across the country on September 5 with the participation of many senior Party and State officials.

Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) cum Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communication and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia attended the opening ceremony of the new school year at Truong Dinh High School in Go Cong Town, Tien Giang Province.

Speaking at the ceremony, he praised the results of Truong Dinh High School in the past school year and suggested that teachers at the school renew their teaching methods, improve the quality of education, and focus on educating students in skills, lifestyle, and ethics.

* On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam attended the opening ceremony for the new school year at Trung Tu Primary School in Dong Da District, Hanoi.

In addition to the 38 classes for its 1,700 normal students, Trung Tu Primary School also maintains an inclusive class for 19 children with disabilities.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam appreciated Trung Tu Primary School’s academic achievements, including the inclusive teaching for children with disabilities.

He expressed his wish to duplicate the inclusive classroom model in other schools and suggested that authorities of Dong Da District create more favourable conditions for schools in the district to continue providing inclusive classes for children with disabilities.
