The awards aim to recognise outstanding journalistic contributions that positively impact HIV/AIDS prevention and control efforts across the country.
Speaking at the launch ceremony on September 8, Dr Hoang Minh Duc, Director of the Department of Disease Prevention, emphasised the crucial role of journalism in combating HIV/AIDS. He highlighted its power to disseminate accurate information and galvanise community efforts to end the epidemic by 2030.
Journalist Tran Tuan Linh, Editor-in-Chief of Suc Khoe Doi Song and Head of the Organising Committee, stated that the awards seek to vividly portray the collective endeavours in prevention, care, treatment, and support for individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
