Red Star Awards honour 100 outstanding young Vietnamese entrepreneurs in 2025

The businesses led by this year’s 100 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs collectively hold total assets exceeding 2.8 quadrillion VND, generated over 214 trillion VND in revenue for 2024, and reported profits of more than 30 trillion VND.

On the evening of November 26, the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association hosted a ceremony for the 2025 Red Star Awardsin Ha Noi.

Launched in July this year, the awards attracted over 300 registered candidates. The organisers shortlisted the most outstanding figures for national ballot selection under the Top100, Top30 “Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs” and the 10 “Exceptional Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs 2025” titles.

Total assets held by the Top100 businesses in 2025 near 3 quadrillion VND, producing more than 310 trillion VND in income, supporting jobs for approximately 60,000 people, generating almost 21 trillion VND to the state budget.

Meanwhile, the 10 “Exceptional Entrepreneur 2025” businesses collectively hold total assets exceeding 2.8 quadrillion VND; generate more than 214 trillion VND in revenue; record incomes of over 30 trillion VND; and contribute nearly 14 trillion VND to the state budget, supporting jobs for more than 19,000 people.

The 2025 Red Star enterprises operate across a wide range of sectors, including: industrial manufacturing; finance, banking and securities; heavy industrial transport; industrial zone infrastructure, logistics and renewable energy; high-tech agriculture; processed food and consumer goods production; green real estate; and technology, education and media.

In his opening remarks, Dang Hong Anh, Chairman of Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association stated: Since its inception, the Red Star Award has been more than a simple honour – it is a bold affirmation of entrepreneurial stature, helping to transform society’s perception of the vital role business leaders play in the nation-building cause.

Addressing the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien commended the Central Committees of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Viet Nam Youth Federation and the Young Entrepreneurs’ Association for successfully building and advancing the Red Star Award brand over the past 26 years, while extending warm congratulations to the 100 “Outstanding” and 10 “Exceptional” Young Entrepreneurs and 2025 recipients.

At the ceremony, Party and State leaders, along with representatives of ministries, sectors and mass organisations, presented the 2025 awards for Top100, Top30 “Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs” and the 10 “Exceptional Young Entrepreneurs 2025”.
