That was the affirmation made by Pham Tan Cong, Chairman of the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), at the 2025 Women Entrepreneurs Forum themed “Women Entrepreneurs Rising in the New Era”, held in Ha Noi, on October 22 under the direction of VCCI.
In his opening speech, Chairman Pham Tan Cong noted that for Viet Nam’s business community — particularly women-led enterprises — this is a “golden moment” to break through and seize emerging trends in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, thereby enhancing competitiveness and asserting their position in the global value chain.
He emphasised that Vietnamese women entrepreneurs now stand at a critical crossroads: to either remain in traditional roles or to boldly transform themselves into pioneering forces in an era of technology, innovation, and sustainable development.
As the national organisation representing Viet Nam’s business community, VCCI remains a trusted partner and a strong bridge between enterprises, the Party, the State, and international partners.
The Chamber also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting women-led and women-managed enterprises, with the Viet Nam Women Entrepreneurs Council under VCCI continuing to accompany them on their journey of growth.
Within the framework of the forum, the ceremony to honour “Outstanding Vietnamese Women Entrepreneurs – Golden Rose Awards 2025” took place. Launched by VCCI in 2005, the award recognises exceptional women entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to the country’s socio-economic development.

Over nine editions, a total of 589 women entrepreneurs have been honoured. This year’s Golden Rose Awards, organised under the 2022 Law on Emulation and Commendation with a five-year evaluation cycle, once again affirm the growing role and influence of women entrepreneurs in developing Viet Nam’s private sector — one of the key drivers of national economic growth.
The 2025 programme drew significant attention from provinces, organisations, and associations, receiving nearly 400 nominations representing a wide range of ethnic backgrounds, business sectors, scales, and ownership types.
