The publishing house is offering a discount from 15% to 50% on its books on sale at book fairs, which are taking place at various venues across the country, such as the Thua Thien Hue History Museum, the National Library of Vietnam, the Nguyen Van Binh Book Street in Ho Chi Minh City, and the Hai Phong city’s Exhibition and Fine Arts Centre.

The promotional programme is also available for shoppers at Kim Dong Publishing House's online distribution channel, from April 18 to 23.

In addition, the publishing house will host numerous book introduction events and talk exchanges with authors, such as journalist Phan Dang, and writers Nguyen Truong Quy, Nguyen Thi Kim Hoa, and Thuy Nguyen.

In celebration of the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, many organisations and individuals have donated nearly 3,000 book titles and newspapers to the Thai Binh provincial library.

The publications will be then delivered to schools in Thai Binh province to spread knowledge and promote reading habits among local schoolchildren.
