The fair takes place until September 17, at the Economic Transaction and Commerce Area, No. 489, Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Bac Tu Liem, Hanoi.
With a scale of nearly 200 booths, the AgroViet 2023 is displaying OCOP products, typical high-value processed products from various regions within Vietnam, as well as from countries such as China, the Republic of Korea, Australia, Russia and ASEAN nations.
Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Trade Promotion Centre for Agriculture, said the fair contributes to promoting international economic exchange cooperation; introduce brands, products, and trade transactions; and honour agriculture, forestry, fisheries, OCOP products, and high-quality agricultural specialities, from localities throughout the country.
At the same time, it is an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to consolidate and exploit the domestic and export markets.
The fair aims to showcase the latest advancements in agricultural technology, machinery, and equipment, providing attendees with valuable insights into the industry's cutting-edge developments.
Furthermore, AgroViet 2023 is expected to foster international cooperation, elevate the profile of Vietnamese products and brand names, and create opportunities for enterprises and cooperatives to expand their presence in both domestic and export markets.
As part of the trade fair, specialised seminars will be conducted both in-person and online.
These seminars will cover topics such as sustainable agriculture, coupled with rural tourism, the promotion of regional and speciality products on e-commerce platforms in 2023, and a business exchange conference between Vietnamese and foreign companies.
