The highlight of the series of activities is the re-enactment of the naming ceremony with the surname 'Ho' of the Ta Oi ethnic group, of Thua Thien - Hue province and the folk song and dance programme about Uncle Ho.

The ceremony includes activities that are very simple but solemn and sacred, expressing the deep affection and gratitude of the ethnic community for Uncle Ho.

The ritual is also a cultural and educational beauty, reminding generations of Ta Oi people about the community's heart for the great leader.

On this occasion, the Management Board of Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism displayed 20 paintings about "Uncle Ho and the Vietnamese ethnic community", and 30 photos about the life, career, and affections of Uncle Ho with the community of ethnic groups; launching a campaign to collect and donate documents, artefacts, images of daily-life items, literary and artistic creations, stories and articles about Uncle Ho.

In addition, there are weekend and daily activities of artisan groups working in the Village to introduce the culture, traditional customs and practices, and experience activities at the "Common House" of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, which contributes to enhancing exchanges between ethnic groups and regions, attracting tourists to the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
