The Tan Trieu Grapefruit Festival will take place from January 16 to 19, 2025, at the Cultural, Sports and Community Learning Centre of Tan Binh Commune, Vinh Cuu District.

The festival will display and introduce grapefruit products, fruits, typical products, OCOP products, typical agricultural products, and cultural-artistic, physical education and sports activities.

Nguyen Thi Dung, Vice Chairwoman of Vinh Cuu District People's Committee, said that the festival has an important meaning in contributing to protecting and promoting the Tan Trieu grapefruit brand; maintaining traditional cultural features; and promoting the economic, trade, service and tourism connections of the locality.

According to research by Nguyen Thi Hoang, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, the Tan Trieu grapefruit area was formed in the 1960s, when the population in this area was still sparse.

In addition to natural conditions suitable for grapefruit trees, human factors also play an important role in creating the quality and brand of Tan Trieu grapefruit.

Grapefruit trees have brought them a high and stable income in recent years. Along with that, many technical advances have been applied by gardeners in planting and caring for the tree in order to meet VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards.
