Through the event, Khanh Hoa’s tourism sector sought to convey a message to international visitors that the province is a friendly and hospitable destination.

It also provided an opportunity to strengthen ties between local authorities, airlines and tourism businesses, in line with the province’s ambition to position Khanh Hoa as one of the leading destinations on the Southeast Asian tourism map, contributing to the implementation of Resolution No. 01 of the Provincial Party Committee on achieving double-digit economic growth in the 2025–2030 period.

Alongside major international markets such as the Republic of Korea, China and Japan, the return of Russian tourists demonstrates the enduring appeal of Khanh Hoa’s tourism industry.

From October 2025, Nordwind Airlines is scheduled to operate an average of 18 to 22 flights per month, carrying around 6,800 passengers. The flights will depart from eight Russian cities, including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Kazan, Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk.
