Taking place from April 17 - 20 at Hanoi Children’s Palace in Hoan Kiem, Hanoi, the Connecting Book Fair, in collaboration with Dinh Ti Books and Thai Ha Books, brings readers not only books in many genres and fields with many attractive discounts and incentives, but also interesting activities for young readers.
A workshop on safety in every corner, preventing accidents and injuries in the family, was also held to help children recognise and handle dangers right in their own home such as choking, poisoning, electric shock, pet attacks, burglary, etc.
The workshop is led by FAS First Aid Team Leader Angel Pham Quoc Viet, who saved 12 lives from the fire in Khuong Ha, Hanoi. Vietnam Women’s Publishing House in collaboration with Saturday Coffee organised an event interacting with author and writer Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc with the participation of special guests such as Meritorious Artist Thanh Loc, actress Minh Phuong, and director Leon Le.
The guests have all played characters or made films based on the works of writer Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc. The event will take place at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street at 9:00 a.m. on April 20.
Meanwhile, at Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Ha Books organised a discussion with the topic on developing reading culture in the digital age with the sharing of Dr Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thai Ha Books Company.
The event attracted the attention of many students, especially young people who want to develop soft skills and increase their ability to think creatively and critically through books.
