Nearly 1,600 works displayed at Southeast Art Photo Festival

The 30th Southeast Art Photo Festival officially opened in Dong Nai Province on August 19, featuring nearly 1,600 photos by more than 210 photographers from the Southeast region.

The photographers come from the provinces of Dong Nai, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, and Lam Dong.

The festival provides a chance for photographers to introduce their achievements as well as meet and exchange to improve their working skills and discover new factors.

The thirteen most outstanding photos were honoured, including a gold medal for the work titled “Ba Ria – Vung Tau - Destination of international cruise ships” by Do Tuan Hung (from Ba Ria – Vung Tau) and silver medals for “Construction of a highway” by Vu Tien Chuong (from Dong Nai) and “Eyes” by Tran Nguyen Vu (from Ninh Thuan).

In addition, the organising board presented four bronze medals and six consolation prizes.

The 31st Southeast Art Photo Festival, 2024, will be held in Tay Ninh Province.
