This is the first rock concert overseen by the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information-Education and Mass Mobilisation, and organised by Netmedia Joint Stock Company together with relevant units. “Rock Concert – Heart of Viet Nam” will take place at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Ha Noi at 8pm on September 6.
The programme is completely free of charge, open to all rock enthusiasts and fans of revolutionary songs.
The concert will feature many top artists and rock bands in Viet Nam such as Buc Tuong, Ngu Cung, Chillies, The Flob, Blue Whales, Pham Anh Khoa, and numerous guest artists.

As its name suggests, “Rock Concert – Heart of Viet Nam” will offer audiences a powerful and free-spirited rock music festival with a line-up of renowned hits.
The most special feature of the night, true to its National Day celebration, will be the revolutionary songs that have accompanied generations, now rearranged in rock style, bringing listeners fresh surprises.
In addition, the programme includes many unexpected elements to provide audiences with a novel experience. For the first time, the Thanh Am Xanh ethnic music band will perform in collaboration with a rock band. This fusion not only creates a unique and powerful sound, but also affirms the spirit that Vietnamese ethnic music can resonate and blend across all stages and eras — even on a rock foundation.
The programme’s chief director, Nguyen Trung Dung, who is also General Director of Netmedia, said that following the success of the programme “Proud to be Vietnamese”, the organisers wished to bring a fresher, more youthful, and energetic artistic space—namely, “Rock Concert – Heart of Viet Nam”.
“We hope the programme will not only be a large-scale rock festival gathering famous bands and beloved hits, but also a bridge for history to touch the hearts of young people through music. The message we want to convey is: ‘Patriotism is not only pride in the past, but also living to the fullest today and building the future together,’” said Nguyen Trung Dung.
