The event was attended by senior officials, including General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member and Minister of National Defence.

Through historical reports, expert discussions, and artistic performances, the programme highlighted the Department’s significant contributions to the leadership, guidance, and organisation of Party and political activities within the army.

These contributions ensured the Party’s absolute and direct leadership in all aspects, reinforcing the political strength of the army and the enduring qualities of “Uncle Ho’s Army”. It underscored the wise leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh in building a politically strong military and the vital role of political work in the military’s success.

The programme consisted of three parts, with the first one emphasising the military’s consistent connection with political work, the second one showcasing the Department’s development and contributions during the resistance wars, and the third part focusing on the Department’s role in modernising the military and preserving its revolutionary legacy.

The event reinforced the Party leadership and affirmed the military’s enduring trust in the Party, the homeland, and the people.
