Some destinations who attract many tourists are: Tan Trao special national relic site (Son Duong district); Temple of President Ho Chi Minh (Tuyen Quang city); Na Hang - Lam Binh ecotourism area and community tourist attractions in Lam Binh and Na Hang districts.
Total revenue from tourism in the first six months 2023 was 2,085 billion VND, reaching 69.5% of the plan, up 68.4% over the same period in 2022.
In order to attract tourists, in recent times Tuyen Quang province has organised many promotional events such as: an opening ceremony for Tuyen Quang’s tourism year 2023 (April); presenting the Asian Townscape Awards 2022 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square; organising the 2nd International Hot Air Balloon Festival - 2023 (April); participating in a programme of introduction and promotion of tourist destinations in eight Northeastern provinces in Ho Chi Minh City in 2023.
Along with that, Tuyen Quang has built and developed new tourism products with particular characteristics, especially in the fields of tourism such as: Cultural tourism, historical tourism; Cultural - festival - spiritual tourism; Resort tourism and medical tourism.
In particular, in September, Tuyen Quang province will host the 14th “Through Viet Bac Heritage Sites” tourism programme in association with the Thanh Tuyen Festival.
Tuyen Quang strives to attract over 2.5 million tourists by 2023, social revenue from tourism reaching 3,000 billion VND; By 2025, attracting over 3 million visitors, social revenue from tourism will reach over 4,800 billion VND.
