The annual forum, co-organised by the Viet Nam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS), the Lao Academy of Social and Economic Sciences (LASES), and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), brings together administrators, theorists, and scientific experts from the three countries of Viet Nam, Laos, and China to discuss theoretical issues and share experiences in building socialism in each country.
The forum also offers an opportunity for scientists from the three countries to continuously strengthen friendship and solidarity in pursuit of a better future.
The forum is being held at a time in which the world is undergoing major transformations, and reality requires each socialist country to rapidly renew state governance methods in a manner suited to national conditions and the context of the era, with the aim to continue achieving new and outstanding development results.
The first session of the forum was dedicated to discussing general issues of socialist state governance, highlighting the theoretical foundations, universal values, and developmental trends of the socialist governance model in Viet Nam, Laos, and China.
The second session focused on the opportunities and solutions for modernising national governance systems and enhancing the capacity of socialist state governance in the context of the digital era from the perspectives of the three countries.
The forum is expected to provide new knowledge and practical solutions to help scientists from the three countries continuously improve theoretical foundations and make positive contributions to the process of building socialism in each nation.
