Held under the theme “Social insurance – lifelong social security support”, the campaign was launched nationwide in response to the 2026 Month for Universal Social Insurance Mobilisation. The initiative aimed to raise public awareness of the benefits and humanitarian significance of social and health insurance policies while supporting the country’s long-term social security goals.

According to VSS, the campaign recorded positive growth in both new and renewed participation. Around 31,000 people newly joined voluntary social insurance schemes, while approximately 98,000 renewed their participation. Household health insurance schemes attracted around 46,000 new participants and 265,000 renewals.

Authorities said public understanding of insurance policies had improved significantly through direct communication and consultation activities. Many residents registered for voluntary social insurance or household health insurance immediately after attending community events, advisory conferences and local outreach sessions.

During the campaign, social insurance officials and socio-political organisations organised about 2,300 communication, consultation and dialogue events nationwide, drawing roughly 137,000 participants, 1.6 times higher than in April 2026.

Thousands of small-group outreach sessions and household visits were also conducted, alongside community communication points and policy consultation booths at markets, shopping centres, industrial parks and residential areas. Around 377,000 communication publications were distributed during the month.

Digital communication efforts were also expanded through websites and social media platforms, including Facebook, Zalo and YouTube. Provincial social insurance agencies published around 60,000 communication products such as articles, videos and infographics, while livestream policy consultations attracted approximately 120,000 viewers.
