The event will be presided over by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, with the participation of various research agencies.

Continuing the success of the 2021 edition, this year’s forum will provide a comprehensive assessment of the Vietnamese economy during the first nine months of 2022 and make predictions for the remainder of the year.

The event will also discuss pressing domestic and international economic issues, and development institution issues amid the new context, in addition to identifying inflation risks and financial, fiscal and monetary risks, while reviewing the implementation of the resolutions adopted by the National Assembly and its Standing Committee.

Through the forum, National Assembly deputies will have more information to decide on important national issues at the parliament’s fourth plenary meeting.

Last year, the forum saw the attendance of over 500 delegates at 58 domestic locations and four international locations (the US, France, Switzerland and Thailand), bringing together Vietnamese and foreign experts and scholars to discuss and contribute their opinions.
