Arts programmes celebrate success of 14th National Party Congress

A special arts programme titled ‘Light of Faith and Aspiration’ was held in Ho Chi Minh City on January 25 to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (February 3, 1930–2026).

The 14th National Party Congress took place from January 19 to 23 against a backdrop of Viet Nam having essentially completed the reorganisation of its two-level local government apparatus, with the national economy poised before fresh development opportunities.

The success of the 14th Congress reflects the Party's firm commitment to the people: steadfastly pursuing the goal of national independence alongside socialism, while remaining proactive and creative in international integration; safeguarding sovereignty and national interests; and developing the economy while ensuring social progress and equity—pursuing growth without compromising the environment, culture, or human values.

The programme was divided into three chapters themed ‘Radiant Viet Nam’, ‘The Nation Rises’, and ‘Glorious Viet Nam’, featuring various musical stage plays, songs, and dances performed by renowned artists and singers such as Ta Minh Tam, Anh Tuyet, Anh Bang, and Ho Trung Dung.

A similar programme was also staged on the same day at the October 30 Square in Ha Long Ward, Quang Ninh Province.

Under the theme ‘Proud to Follow the Glorious Party – Quang Ninh Rises to New Heights’, the event brought together veteran and young performers, including Dang Duong, Viet Hoang, Trong Tan, My Tam, and Duong Hoang Yen.

Through the medium of music, dance, and modern stage imagery, the 120-minute programme honoured the Party's leadership role and affirmed the people's steadfast faith in the national developmental path.
