Recently, nearly 1,000 union members and workers at TOTO Viet Nam Company in Ha Noi joyfully joined the “Reunion Tet” programme and the banh chung (square sticky rice cake) making competition organised by the company’s Trade Union. On the occasion, many Tet gift packages were presented to union members and workers facing difficult circumstances.
According to the company’s General Director, Asada Kyoji, organising Tet festivities demonstrates the enterprise’s aspiration to build a safe and stable working environment, enabling workers to feel secure in their long-term commitment to the company. Immediately after the 2026 New Year holiday, the company’s workers and staff quickly resumed a brisk production pace.
In January 2026 alone, the company received around 300 initiatives focused on saving raw materials, improving operations, enhancing product quality, and optimising production lines.
Higher bonuses and stronger worker support across enterprises
At Dong Anh LICOGI Mechanical Joint Stock Company in Ha Noi, hundreds of workers are delighted as this year’s Tet bonus is 20% higher than last year’s.
In 2025, the company exceeded its production and business plan, creating stable jobs for workers with an average monthly income of 14 million VND.
Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, a mechanical processing worker, shared that she was very happy to receive a bonus of 6 million VND for the New Year Festival and 8 million VND for Tet. “This is the motivation for us to stay committed and contribute long-term to the company,” she said.
Thai Hong Khanh, Director of the company’s Aluminium Production, added that alongside the two Tet bonus payments, the company plans to award a 14th month’s salary (based on each person’s average total income over 12 months) to encourage all workers to strive in production and business, achieving the growth targets for 2026.
According to the Ha Noi Department of Home Affairs, a survey of nearly 3,200 enterprises in the city shows that Tet bonuses are generally higher than in 2025. The highest Tet bonus is 614 million VND per person from a private software enterprise; the lowest is 800,000 VND per person.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Printing No. 7 Joint Stock Company has approved a list of 330 workers to receive a 13th month’s salary, equivalent to three months’ pay. This is an encouraging Tet bonus for 2026 after a hard year’s labour.
Nguyen Thi Tham, a sewing worker, commended the company’s leadership for striving to secure orders and maintain a stable export market to the US and Europe, creating a solid foundation for production.
At Nidec Viet Nam Corporation in Ho Chi Minh City, the workforce remains stable with around 3,500 workers plus 700–1,000 seasonal labourers during peak orders. For 2026, the Tet bonus is equivalent to 1.1 months’ salary, with each Tet gift package worth about 500,000 VND.
The company’s Board of Directors and Trade Union consistently care for workers with the best conditions. In addition to Tet gifts and bonuses, the company organises 12 bus trips to take workers home and grants two extra days’ leave to 209 workers from the central region affected by storms and floods, helping them reunite with their families after a year working away from home.
Enterprises set ambitious growth targets for 2026
Many enterprises in Phu Tho Province have set high growth targets for 2026 with specific measures. Most assess that this year’s production and business environment is more favourable than in 2025.
Vinh Phuc No. I Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company exceeded its 2025 targets and plans, ensuring full employment, income, and benefits for workers. The average income of 245 workers reached 13.2 million VND per month. For the Tet bonus, the company plans to pay a 13th month’s salary equivalent to two basic salaries.
The company’s General Director, Nguyen Van Khanh, said that in 2026, the company will focus on excelling in production and business, customer development, striving for revenue of 290 billion VND, budget contributions of 23 billion VND, and after-tax profit of 15 billion VND.
Also in Phu Tho, Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemicals Joint Stock Company achieved a successful year of production and business, with industrial production value in 2025 reaching 3,925 billion VND, up 16% from 2024. Full-year revenue was estimated at 3,891 billion VND, up 8%; budget contributions were 69 billion VND and pre-tax profit was 206 billion VND.

In 2026, according to General Director Pham Thanh Tung, the company will introduce Kali Sunfat (K2SO4) products to the market and develop a new fertiliser product line to help crops flower early, ripen sooner, produce sweeter and more colourful fruit, and increase yield efficiency. The company will expand the market for the new fertiliser, strengthen digital transformation to cut costs, and boost labour productivity.
