Organised by the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade, the three-day event at the Viet Nam Exhibition Centre features 400 booths, including 200 from Vietnamese businesses and 200 from international exhibitors from Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, India, France and other countries.

Exhibitors are showcasing products, technologies and solutions in green transition, sustainable development and high-efficiency technologies. The event aims to strengthen links between domestic and international businesses in research, technology transfer, innovation, digital transformation and green transition.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Anh Duong said the expo provides businesses with opportunities to promote their products and strengths, join global value chains and expand sustainably into international markets.

The event also features thematic seminars, B2B meetings and one-to-one business matchmaking, enabling companies to seek partners, explore technology transfer opportunities and work towards cooperation agreements in green technology and sustainable development.

The expo is expected to attract 50,000 visitors and foreign buyers, including more than 180 buyers from Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Switzerland and Malaysia.

Yasuo Uchihara, Chairman of Japan’s NC Network, said Vietnamese businesses are improving their technological capacity, quality, productivity and ability to meet international market requirements. He stressed that green transition is increasingly part of industrial competitiveness, with businesses able to begin through measures such as reducing energy and material consumption, optimising production processes and improving automation and data management.

Greentech Ha Noi 2026 will run through September 18 and is expected to help promote a new growth model for the capital based on science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.
