Hanoi leaders commemorate Russia’s October Revolution

A delegation of Hanoi's leaders led by Politburo member and Secretary of Hanoi municipal Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung on November 7 laid flowers at the statue of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin in Hanoi to mark the 106th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (November 7, 1917-2023).

The delegation included Party Central Committee member and Chairman of Hanoi municipal People’s Committee Tran Sy Thanh and municipal Party Committee members.

At the function, leaders of Hanoi city expressed their respect for Lenin, an outstanding political theorist, prominent leader of the working class around the world, guardian of Marxism, and the founder of the Soviet State – the first worker-peasant State in the world.

The officials also pledged absolute loyalty to Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thought and stayed unified and steady in following the path of the proletarian revolution, towards developing the capital city into a more beautiful, prosperous, civilised and modern city.

On the same day, representatives of the Hanoi youth, agencies and organisations paid floral tributes to Vladimir Ilyich Lenin to mark the 106th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution.
