[In Pictures] Tourists enthralled by unique journey of ‘Ha Noi 5 Gates’ tourist train

Departing from Ha Noi Station, the ‘Ha Noi 5 Gates’ tourist train takes passengers to Tu Son Station (Bac Ninh Province) on a unique journey blending heritage and experience. The train opens up an evocative cultural space, filling every passenger with excitement and delight from the very first moments.

Ha Noi’s new tourism product, the ‘Ha Noi 5 Gates’ tourist train has officially entered commercial operation.

The route, named “Thang Long–Kinh Bac: Echoes of a Thousand Years”, runs from Ha Noi Station to Tu Son Station (Bac Ninh), with two scheduled departures daily: morning from 8:00 to 11:30 and afternoon from 13:30 to 17:00.

The train consists of five double-decker carriages and two carriages designed for check-in, styled after the five historic gates of Thang Long. With elegant interiors, each carriage seats 40 - 60 passengers, and windows are maximised to allow travellers to enjoy the scenery along the way. On board, passengers are offered seasonal snacks and introduced to the history and culture of the region.

Ticket prices range from 550,000 VND to 750,000 VND per person. Children under six travel free if sharing a seat with an adult; those aged six to ten receive a 15% discount; and children over ten are charged the adult fare.
