The programme is within the framework of the cooperationbetween the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam and JICA, with non-refundable aid from the Japanese Government.
In 2024, 50 full scholarships, including tuition, round-trip air tickets, monthly living expenses and other subsidies, will be granted to the 45 best master's degree candidates and five best candidates at the doctoral level.
The deadlines for submission of registration applications are 5pm on February 20, 2024, for master's degrees and 5 pm on March 11, 2024, for doctoral degrees.
The qualified candidates, who will be selected at the end of May 2024, will depart for Japan to join courses in August.JDS scholarships have been continuously carried out in Vietnam since 2000, providing 806 master's scholarships and 21 doctoral scholarships for Vietnam.
