This year’s event featured the participation of 20 designers and brands, including 14 from Vietnam and six from foreign countries.
The 2018 VIFWFW’s catwalk was designed under the image of Dong Xuan market – a cultural symbol of Hanoi.
In the opening programme, designer Lam Gia Khanh treated the audiences with his latest collection inspired by ballet dancers. In addition, collections by Vietnam’s Veston Ngoc Lan brand and Turkish designer Mert Erkan were also introduced.
This is the eighth time Vietnam International Fashion Week has been held in Vietnam, becoming an annual cultural event which is warmly welcomed by fashion lovers.
The week will run until October 27.
