The event marked the beginning of Da Nang's summer festival season, which has been specially designed to help visitors to the coastal city explore new and wonderful experiences.
The impressive music programme featured popular singers and artists including My Tam, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Phuong Ly, and Pham Dinh Thai Ngan.
Enjoy Da Nang 2024 is taking place from July 17 to 21 with a series of spectacular artistic programmes at East Sea Park, the beaches around Da Nang, and along the Han River.
The festival includes 14 activities, including the Enjoy Da Nang 2024 opening night, the Taste of Vietnam – International Food Festival with nearly 50 booths, an artistic kite flying festival, beach sports competitions, a beach fashion show, a traditional cuisine experience space, sailing performances on the Han River, a coastal region festival, outstanding artistic programmes at night, a barefoot beach running competition, and the "Enjoy Da Nang" tour programme.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong affirmed that the Enjoy Da Nang 2024 is a large-scale and professional festival with many new activities, especially the grand opening music festival featuring the convergence of famous artists and musicians. Together, through the combination of music, lights, and dance, they told stories with unforgettable surprises and impressions.
Through the festival, Da Nang aims to convey the message of a fantastic a city full of sincerity, friendliness, and hospitality, with many exciting tourist attractions, entertainment activities, and quality services.
Da Nang hopes to offer visitors many memorable experiences during the beach tourism season through the days of Enjoy Da Nang 2024.
