The Warsaw Food Expo 2026 was held at the Ptak Warsaw Expo Exhibition Centre in Poland from June 9–11. The Embassy of Viet Nam in Poland participated in the event.

At the exhibition, the Embassy introduced a wide range of representative Vietnamese products to Polish and international visitors, including processed agricultural products, coffee, tea, dried fruits, traditional spices, convenience foods, and other key export items. The Embassy also proactively facilitated direct connections between several Vietnamese businesses and overseas Vietnamese enterprises in Poland with Polish import-export companies, distributors, and logistics providers.

The Vietnamese pavilion attracted considerable interest from businesses, importers, distributors, and visitors, particularly for products of tropical origin that showcase the distinctive flavours of Vietnamese cuisine and align with increasingly diverse consumer preferences in Poland and across Europe.

Through direct exchanges at the exhibition, Polish and international partners expressed interest in obtaining more information on Vietnamese products, production processes, quality standards, supply capacity, and distribution networks in Poland and the European Union.

Many partners highlighted the strong potential of Vietnamese agricultural and food products at a time when European consumers are placing greater emphasis on high-quality products with distinctive flavours, clear traceability, and compliance with EU standards. They regarded participation in the exhibition as a practical opportunity to broaden partnership networks, promote exports, and explore suitable logistics and distribution solutions to facilitate more effective access for Vietnamese goods to the Polish and European markets.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Ha Hoang Hai met with Tomasz Szypuła, President of Ptak Warsaw Expo, to discuss measures to strengthen trade cooperation between Viet Nam and Poland, particularly by increasing the presence of Vietnamese enterprises at major specialised trade fairs and exhibitions hosted by Ptak Warsaw Expo.

The two sides also discussed expanding cooperation beyond the food sector into other promising areas such as technology, e-commerce, furniture, textiles and garments, cosmetics and tourism.

Ambassador Ha Hoang Hai emphasised that Poland is an important market for Viet Nam in Central and Eastern Europe and serves as a strategic gateway for Vietnamese goods seeking deeper access to the EU market. He noted that the Embassy’s participation in Warsaw Food Expo 2026 reflects Viet Nam’s strong commitment to trade promotion, product branding, and supporting Vietnamese enterprises in finding partners, expanding distribution channels, and gradually enhancing the position of Vietnamese products in Poland and across Europe.

Tomasz Szypuła highly appreciated the active participation of the Embassy of Viet Nam and the Vietnamese business community at Warsaw Food Expo 2026, noting that Vietnamese products hold considerable potential in the Polish market thanks to their quality, diversity, and unique characteristics. He expressed his desire to continue working closely to connect more Vietnamese enterprises with international trade events organised by Ptak Warsaw Expo.

The Embassy of Viet Nam’s participation in Warsaw Food Expo 2026 helped promote the image of the country, its people, culinary culture, and products in Poland, while creating an additional practical channel for connecting Vietnamese businesses with European distribution systems, importers, and commercial partners.

It also reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting businesses in trade promotion activities, participation in trade fairs, market research, partnership development, and more effective utilisation of opportunities arising from Viet Nam–Poland cooperative relations and the Viet Nam–EU Free Trade Agreement.

Warsaw Food Expo 2026 is the largest food exhibition in Poland and one of the most significant food industry events in Central and Eastern Europe. It brings together hundreds of businesses, manufacturers, distributors, importers, retail representatives, and industry partners, while attracting tens of thousands of visitors. The exhibition serves as a platform for business networking, product promotion, consumer trend analysis, and the advancement of international trade cooperation in the food sector.
