The trade fair aims to boost the consumption of farm produce at GO/Big C supermarket chains, thereby supporting the formation and development of sustainable agricultural value chains.
The fair features 30 pavilions run by cooperatives and enterprises from nearly 10 provinces and cities in the South.
Besides typical agricultural products such as yellow dragon fruit, rice, black garlic, coffee, shrimp rolls, and honey, various types of consumer goods, food and food stuffs are being showcased at the event.
The trade fair will also include sideline activities such asan investment promotion event on how to build food safety chains, seminars on connecting supply and demandfor cooperative products, and others.
The organising board also presented prizes to participating enterprises who win a vote on noteworthy typical agricultural products.
The event, jointly organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the Central Retail Group in Vietnam, will run until July 7.
