APK is a high-level forum connecting German businesses with the Asia-Pacific region.
This year’s conference brought together around 800 business leaders, policymakers, and industry representatives, with the participation of major German and Asian corporations. Notably, APK 2026 featured speeches by German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz and the RoK’s Prime Minister Han Seong-sook.
The AI Startup Award final brought together five representatives selected from five countries: India, the RoK, Singapore, Viet Nam, and China. During the final round, the startups, selected from thousands of contenders across Asia, had three minutes to present their solutions before taking part in a live question-and-answer session with three senior German Government and business leaders. The winner was determined by a live vote among delegates attending the event.
Viet Nam’s representative beat four startups from the RoK, Singapore, India, and China, securing a decisive majority of votes to win the Asia-Pacific AI innovation startup competition.
Speaking after the victory, Nguyen Do Dung, Co-founder and CEO of Enfarm, said: “Representing Viet Nam at APK was already a source of pride. Having the opportunity to engage directly with delegates and receive the highest number of votes from leading business executives is a tremendous recognition for those of us working in technology, particularly agricultural technology developed in Viet Nam. This victory belongs to the farmers who have accompanied us, embraced new approaches, and placed their trust in Vietnamese technology engineers.”
For Enfarm, the victory in Seoul is therefore more than just a startup award. It represents recognition from a community of business leaders, policymakers, and the world’s leading industrial corporations for a technology developed in Viet Nam.
