The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Sau, Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Viet Nam in Japan; representatives of the embassy's Education Section; representatives of Aoyama School of Japanese; representatives of the VJCE; as well as experts and partners involved in Viet Nam–Japan educational cooperation.

During the ceremony, the parties explored avenues to bolster educational cooperation in the new phase, with a focus on Japanese language training, academic exchanges, institutional partnerships, and the development of a highly skilled workforce.

A key provision of the agreement authorises the VJCE to serve as Aoyama School of Japanese's official representative in Viet Nam. In this role, the centre will orchestrate educational cooperation activities, liaise with partners, develop training programmes, and promote educational exchange projects between the two countries.

The parties also agreed to collaborate on programmes to promote Japanese language learning among Vietnamese students, conduct research into a Japanese language proficiency assessment system for children, organise cultural and educational exchange activities, and strengthen cooperation between educational institutions in Viet Nam and Japan.

As part of the programme, the VJCE and Digital Wallet Joint Stock Company also signed a strategic cooperation memorandum designed to implement community, education, and cultural exchange projects between Viet Nam and Japan. The two sides will collaborate on initiatives supporting the Vietnamese community in Japan, youth education, the promotion of Japanese language learning, business networking, and cultural exchange programmes.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Education Section of the Embassy of Viet Nam in Japan lauded the efforts of the participating organisations and expressed confidence that the cooperation programmes would contribute to deepening the Viet Nam–Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

The signing ceremony marks an important milestone in educational cooperation between Viet Nam and Japan, with the shared goal of elevating the quality of human resources, expanding international learning opportunities for younger generations, and cementing people-to-people ties between the two countries.
