Running from July 1 to 5, the event is organised by the Centre for Innovation and Industrial Promotion under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. It aims to support enterprises, cooperatives and rural industrial production establishments in showcasing their products, seeking business partners, expanding markets and enhancing their competitiveness amid digital transformation, green transition and deeper international economic integration.
The fair features 300 exhibition booths representing enterprises, cooperatives, rural industrial producers, traditional craft villages and trade promotion organisations from numerous provinces and cities across Viet Nam.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Do Thi Minh Tram, Deputy Director General of the Department of Innovation, Green Transition and Industrial Promotion under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, emphasised that the theme, "Inspiring Innovation, Promoting Vietnamese Brands", reflects the spirit of Politburo Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
She noted that the resolution provides a strategic direction for enterprises in general, and rural industrial producers in particular, to achieve sustainable development, strengthen their competitiveness, integrate more deeply into supply chains and reinforce the position of Vietnamese products in the new era of global integration.
According to Do Thi Minh Tram, the exhibition has attracted nearly 150 organisations and enterprises from 24 provinces and cities nationwide, with 300 booths displaying hundreds of products recognised as outstanding rural industrial products at both national and regional levels.
More than 60% of the products on display are already distributed through nationwide retail channels, particularly in the sectors of processed agricultural, forestry and fishery products, food, mechanical engineering, household goods and other rural industrial products. Many exhibitors have upgraded their packaging, improved product designs and standardised quality to better meet market demand.
"This demonstrates the strong spirit of innovation, the determination to improve, and the commitment to professionalising Vietnamese brands," Do Thi Minh Tram said.
The exhibition also incorporates virtual reality technology and digital solutions to provide visitors with immersive experiences, showcasing production models, circular economy technologies and innovative ideas.
In addition, the fair features consultancy activities to strengthen production and business capabilities for rural industrial enterprises, as well as livestream sessions promoting products and helping businesses connect with customers through digital platforms.
