Vietnam Literature and Art Awards 2023 honours 69 outstanding works

In 2023, the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations received nine most outstanding works from nine central literature and arts associations and 372 works by authors and groups of authors from 53 local literature and art associations.

The jury presented nine prizes to authors with excellent works from nine central literature and art associations.

From the 372 works by authors and groups of authors from 53 local literature and arts associations, the jury council selected and presented 60 excellent works, including four A prizes, 14 B prizes, 19 C prizes, 18 consolation prizes and five young author prizes.

Addressing the ceremony, the Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, Associate Professor Dr. Do Hong Quan, said that the annual Literary and Art Awards was increasingly being expanded in scale, gathering the participation of significant artists from across the country.

Regarding the quality of the award, he said that this year's literary and artistic works have shown exploration and innovation, with content and themes still adhering to the life and moral traditions of the nation.

The organising committee hopes that future Awards will receive all works from the central literature and arts associations and 63 local literature and art associations across the country, said Do Hong Quan.
