The event aimed to boost the commercialisation of technology and support innovative startups in accessing investment capital.

Speaking at the event, Professor Dr Nguyen Ky Phung, Head of the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Management Board, emphasised that the park's mission goes beyond attracting major technology corporations, it also serves as a solid launchpad for high-tech Vietnamese enterprises.

At the heart of this mission is the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Incubation Centre, which plays a pivotal role in fostering the startup ecosystem within the park.

According to Professor Dr. Phung, for a technology seed to germinate and grow into a towering tree, in addition to a groundbreaking idea and a talented team, resources, strong networks, and a favourable environment are needed.

Therefore, the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Management Board and the Incubation Centre have been striving to become the most strategic and effective bridge between startups and investors, he stressed.

The event featured five promising projects selected from SHTP-IC’s incubation programme. These projects came from cutting-edge sectors such as biotechnology, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and electric vehicles (EV).

During the programme, startups presented their business models, core technologies, proof-of-concept results, and commercialisation strategies to a panel of investors, tech experts, and representatives of domestic and international venture capital funds.

The event drew significant attention from numerous reputable venture capital funds, including ITI Fund, Startup Law, DMZ Viet Nam, Dragon Capital, and VIISA.
