The festival aims to honour the beauty of orchids while fostering links between culture, tourism and urban agriculture, drawing large numbers of visitors.
After two previous editions, the Orchid Festival has become not only a showcase of unique and creative orchid and ornamental plant products by domestic and international artisans, but also a venue for exchanges and experience-sharing among orchid growers and artists, as well as a platform to promote trade connections and product consumption.
This year’s theme, “The Multicoloured Train”, is inspired by the two historic Reunification trains that departed simultaneously on December 31, 1976, from Ha Noi and Sai Gon, opening the North–South Railway Line – a powerful symbol of peace, reconciliation and unity.

More than 200 participants, including artisans, garden houses and orchid farms, are showcasing and competing in the orchid exhibition, presenting a total of 39,000 orchid-related products and entries, an increase of 35% compared to the previous edition.
The festival also welcomes the participation of countries, provinces and localities with strengths in orchid production, presented through mini-landscapes to highlight their unique cultural characteristics. These include displays from the Kingdom of Thailand, Lam Dong Province, and especially the recreation of “Vietnamese Soul”, which won a silver medal at the 2025 Taiwan (China) International Orchid Show (TIOS).
On this occasion, the organising committee awarded prizes to gardeners and artisans participating in the contest with the most beautiful, unique and typical orchid models.
The prize-winning orchids will be displayed at the festival from May 16 to 20, offering visitors, locals and internationals a chance to admire them.
The event will be from May 16 to 20 at Tao Dan Park, District 1.
